Most IT providers have never heard of the software your local runs on. We have supported it since 2009.
TradeSchool
TradeSchool is accessed through FileMaker Pro, which is where most of the trouble starts. When an instructor or coordinator can’t get in, the cause is usually on the FileMaker side — a client that needs updating, a version mismatch after a workstation was replaced, or connection settings that were lost when a machine was reimaged or a user profile was rebuilt.
We handle FileMaker Pro client installation and updates, rebuild lost connection configurations, sort out access problems for new and existing staff, and set up new workstations so TradeSchool works the first time someone sits down at them.
LaborPower Express
Typical LaborPower calls are about getting into the app, applying updates, adding users, error messages, and data not pulling through from the website into LaborPower Express.
That last one usually isn’t a LaborPower problem at all — it’s a connection, credential, or firewall issue between the website and the application. We work those from both ends rather than sending you back to the vendor.
Legacy NTAS and the ICS migration
We supported clients through the move from Working Systems’ ICS platform to LaborPower Express, and we still maintain legacy NTAS deployments for locals that haven’t migrated. If you are on an older system and weighing whether to move, we have done it before and can tell you what it actually involves.
Why this matters
When a training center’s software goes down, class doesn’t stop. Instructors need attendance in, apprentices need hours recorded, and the coordinator needs reports that are due regardless. A provider who has to learn your software during an outage costs you the class.
